CATLINK Distribution Hub
The Distribution hub is the central component of the Catlink system and provides power to and receives signals from Receiver heads and converts and drives these signals out to the emitter circuits that drive the Emitter sets that are positioned over the equipment to be controlled remotely.

The hub is designed to be either free standing or wired into a patch panel arrangement. The hub is connected to the distribution network via four RJ45 sockets which are wired with pair 4 providing power and signal reception for Receiver heads and pair 1 driving Emitters. This leaves pairs 2 & 3 for other applications such as telephone or Ethernet network if required.
Powered by 12~18VDC via DC socket in side.

CATLINK Receiver Heads
(part# CL-IRM0338)Receiver heads receive the remote control signals and convert them into electrical signals that are transmitted down a single twisted pair (in Cat5 this is pair 4) to the distribution hub.
A special feature of each Catlink Receiver head is that a single pair is used both for powering receiver heads and sending signals to the Distribution Hub.
The standard receiver head is designed to be mounted on the television/flat panel or item of furniture and can be attached by use of the supplied velcro pad.
All receiver heads are equipped with an indicator light that blinks when it receives infrared signals.
Leaded Receiver heads are supplied with 1.5 meters of cable and are terminated with a RJ45 jack to pair#4 (pins 7 & 8).
Wide band CL-IRM0338 receiver head now available.
The CL-IRM0338 receiver head provides further improved equipment compatibility (such as with Mysky) and improved resistance to interference including operation directly near large panels running high definition content.

The wide band version provides significantly better equipment compatibility.
The Catlink Insert receiver heads are easy and tidy to install can be either supplied with a small wall plate just as the insert to click neatly into your wall plate of choice.
Equipped with a blue ‘Talk-back’ indicator light mounted behind the Lens and flashes whenever infrared signals are received.
Equipped with two screw terminals for connection to a receiver pair of a Catlink network.

New types of Receiver head are in development including weather sealed versions for use in outdoor areas and adjustable wideband versions for increased system compatibility.
CATLINK Emitters Set
The Emitters are infrared transmitters that are positioned over or adjacent to the equipment to be controlled.
The emitter set consists of a standard Emitter pair set (this part common to the Wirelink range as well as competing IR control products plus an RJ45 emitter adaptor cable that allows the emitters to be plugged into the CATLINK network.
Both parts must be ordered separately because of two options available on the emitter adapter lead.
